Powerful Resources from 10 Years of Retreat-Leading Experience
About Darla
There are two things that have made a difference for me more than anything else on my journey to right here.
- Alignment. Aligning with my spiritual Truth has created a priceless internal freedom.
- Retreats. Connection heals and healing frees. To risk being truly seen, in a retreat community, creates permanent transformation.
Kurt Wright said, “We can only trust that part of ourselves that we have revealed to another person and had validated instead of violated.” This simple statement demonstrates why small, safe-space, truth-based retreats are such powerful tools for empowerment. Once we experience ourselves in a new way, we can’t un-know who we now are. And live retreats create experiences in a way no self-help book (or virtual program, or information-packed big event) ever could.
If you are someone who creates a safe space of non-judgement in which people can share their Truth (or people just tend to tell you stuff), or if you love to dig into the root cause of an issue to shift it at its core, you might a transformational entrepreneur and a powerful retreat leader. Get Right with Your Parents for a Clear Purpose

Why I Started Crying in the Day Care Parking Lot

Cash Injection? Let it Go
The biggest breakthroughs, especially in the realm of a cash injection, rarely come from doing more... they come from letting go. Letting go of old patterns, hesitations, attachments, and dysfunctional needs. Like the need to be right, to keep busy, to stay hidden....
Who Were You When You Met Him? (Or Her)
Everything vibrates. Including us. We are microscopic particles vibrating at a certain rate. So are the people with whom we're in relationship. The frequency at which we vibrate literally changes based on our thoughts, beliefs, and motivations in life. This is...
One Way Your Purpose Will Always Elude You
Do you operate on a "need to know" basis? Meaning you need to know everything about how it's going to go before you make a decision? This way of being will hide your purpose and halt your business. It will. I know. I worked that way for years! I could make pro and con...
Elaborate Schemes of the Business Owner to Avoid Being Seen and Known
Many human beings have a fear of being seen and known. There is no place where this comes to light as strongly as in business. Our subconscious mind creates truly elaborate mechanisms to keep us hidden. And sometimes they are as simple as the way we dress or carry...
The Cost of the Deal
I recently purchased a brand new computer at the Apple store. The great thing about accidentally becoming a "Mac Person" is that Macs never go on sale. I know that's strange to say, but stick with me here. Whenever you want a new Mac, you can go buy one, and there's...
Building the Plane While Flying It
Several years ago I took a training program that was all about being powerful. It was a 3-day class and we were to create our vision for something we really wanted to accomplish. Then we were to work our way backward, creating from the future, and mapping out all of...
