I have a post-it note above my desk that reads, “Thank you God for always bringing me back to Truth. It’s a joy to serve you.”
This little note is a reminder that I am never alone, and it is always safe to surrender to what is coming up next in my growth. Running your business as an Aligned Entrepreneur means embracing a willingness to align to your Truth as it reveals itself time and again, even when it’s scary.
Just as the seed of a tomato plant can only ever become a tomato, each of us has a seed within us to become exactly who we are meant to be. A choice to believe this can bring you great freedom. No matter what choices you make, you ultimately can’t screw it up if you commit to paying attention!
At the end of his book The eMyth Revisted, Michael Gerber writes a letter to his client, Sarah, in which he congratulates her on reuniting with her spirit through the work of her business. He says, essentially, that our spirit is always out there waiting on one of the many paths that are available to us, and it is our job to become aware of that right path for us and reunite with it.
Do you believe this?
Imagine for a moment what it would be like to run your business with a deep conviction that your Truth is planted within you, and your job is to become aware of it at a deeper level each time you decide to grow your bottom line.
You don’t have to try or worry or fuss about doing it right, you just need to pay attention to what’s showing up. You will always get what you need when you need it.
Freeing, right?
So why don’t we humans tend to operate this way?
Because it can be scary!
When Spirit is telling you that the next message or business model you need to bring forward to the world is something that contradicts conventional wisdom, goes against another expert opinion, or maybe even flies in the face of something you previously believed to be true, it can be a scary ride.
Being an Aligned Entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart! But, oh, what an adventure!

When you’re willing to ride the ride, the rewards are greater than you can imagine, in pure joy and also profit.
It can be easy to doubt.
We’re often not accustomed to reading the signals.
Back to my favorite Einstein quote: “The intuitive mind is a faithful gift, the rational mind its faithful servant. We’ve created a society which honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
We’re trained to rationalize decisions and make sure everyone understands what we’re doing before we do it. But when Spirit sends a message, especially the kind that will transform your business and your life, it’s often not rational. The message is for you and the people you’re here to serve, not for everyone. Learning to trust it is an art, and it’s an art that will ultimately bring you peace, and also make you a lot of money!
