So today I launched this site, my “real” website, and my newsletter in one swoop. 🙂 I thank Heather (www.wholewebimpact.com), Claudia (www.sandmandesign.com) for making this site happen, and Lana, MC, Shawnta, Krista, Virginia, for your support, encouragement, belief in me and my passion, and I thank Jamie, my beau, for just plain dealing with me and the hours I’ve invested in creating the foundation for the business and life of my dreams! And, lastly, thanks to my family for your patience and belief in me.

All that said, I am a little less pumped up than I would be due to the passing of my “grams,” Irene, last night. This, of course, causes me to reflect on life and inspired me to select the following quote for my inaugural E-zine (of course go to www.douxcoaching.com and subscribe 🙂 ):.

“Life shouldn’t be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather a skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, body thoroughly used up and worn out, screaming ‘WOO-HOO, what a ride!’” – Author Unknown

While I don’t have the normal brain space today to properly reflect here, I will say that I have had this quote on my desk for several years, as I made my exit from corporate life, and even now. Rather than share my thoughts (I am sure there are many), I will simply go to default “coach” mode and ask – what would it mean to you to be thoroughly “used up” during this lifetime? Where in your life are you holding back – to stay safe, to keep comfortable, to avoid looking stupid, to avoid being hurt? If you are so inspired, let that go today and take one full-out action for my “grams.” 😉
